2009 Legal 500 Success!

It’s celebration time at Lanyon Bowdler after we, once again, received numerous recommendations by the leading Legal Sector Directory.  It really is good to see our hardworking lawyers rewarded by the UK Legal 500 with recommendations in 11 areas of work, the highest amount received by a entirely Shropshire based practice this year.

The firm has been recommended by the UK Legal 500 in the following categories: Corporate & Commercial; Crime; Commercial Litigation; Employment; Health & Safety; Clinical Negligence: claimant; Personal Injury: claimant; Agriculture & Estates; Family; Personal taxes, Trusts & Probate and Commercial property.

The success of our submission always hinges on client feedback and the kind words those clients have to say about us.  This year’s results are testament to the levels of service and the strong client relationships offered by the departments and teams.

It is particularly satisfying for me to see these results come in.  When that big book lands on my desk early in September each year I am reminded of all the hard work that goes into the submission during the months of December and January – oh yes, just when you think we’d be able to wind down a little before the Christmas break, the Legal 500 submission appears!

Completing the submission always involves a great deal of input from the partners and their teams, this year partner and head of Commercial & General Property, Andrew Evans and I even met with a Legal 500 researcher in Birmingham – clearly the effort has been rewarded and we are delighted with the results.  If you are interested you can see more here:
