Is the Credit Crunch Seeing an Increase in Will Disputes?

Claire Vale, a solicitor with Lanyon Bowdler, who specialises in Contentious Probate, was invited to speak on BBC Radio Shropshire's breakfast show last week.  Presenter Eric Smith asked Claire whether she had recently seen an increase in family inheritance disputes - to which Claire answered "most definitely".

Asked whether these disputes tend to split families and if parents ever try to exercise control over their money from 'beyond the grave', she confirmed that this can be the case.

Claire agreed that it wasn't just money families squabbled over, arguments arise over jewellery, photographs and house contents.
