Lanyon Bowdler Supports Carter Jonas Pedalthon

On a soggy day in the Yorkshire Dales towards the end of May, Team Lanyon Bowdler took part in an 80 mile charity Pedalthon.  The event was organised by estate agents Carter Jonas to raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Sustrans.  The 80 mile ride showcased the spectacular North Yorkshire countryside, taking in parts of the route which the riders of the 2014 Tour de France will encounter later in the year, including the two mile climb up and over Kidstones Pass.

Team Lanyon Bowdler comprised solicitors Ruth James (commercial agreements specialist), Richard Stone (wills and probate expert) and David Marston-Jones (dispute resolution adviser), together with Helen Stokes from Eccleshall-based business Quality Garden Supplies, visit there website by clicking here

Team Lanyon Bowdler organiser Ruth James said:  “It was a real challenge and the weather conditions were atrocious, but it didn’t put anyone off.  The company and support of the other riders taking part pulled us through and made it into a truly memorable day. Our thanks go to the organisers at Carter Jonas, and congratulations too in raising over £10,000 for charity.”

The riders from Lanyon Bowdler used bikes provided through Cyclescheme, a tax free bikes for work scheme, which Lanyon Bowdler encourages as a GreenAchiever
