Representing Deaf Client Results in Interest in Sign Language

I first became interested in learning sign language after representing a profoundly deaf client at the police station.

When I found out there was a BSL (British Sign Language) 01 Sign Language class being held at Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology (SCAT) on a Wednesday evening I jumped at the chance.

So far I have only learnt the basics, however I intend to continue my studies and enrol on the BSL 02 in September 2012.

In the long term I hope to be able assist deaf people with communication within the legal environment.
